This is a short, action packed banger inside a 60 mile loop. Jeremiah Bishop led us out on this banger one beautiful autumn day. Chunky climbs, blistering descents and some really fun, cutty weirdness throughout.

At mile 30, you have the opportunity to head straight down Lower Fork Rd to cut out a nasty 10 mile section of twisty, abandoned service road which often has impassable sections of downed trees. Typically if the first half-mile is littered with trees, turn around and take the road down.

The final climb up to the highland wildlife management area is huge, rough and back-breaking, but the views at the top are worth every bit. Save your legs for this one!

No store stops here but Monterrey is an excellent place to start and end a ride. The diner there on the main drag has killer shakes and respectable diner food.
